Authorities say they initiated a routine traffic stop soon thereafter and while speaking with the driver, they claim to have detected signs of impairment.
While no further information was provided as to what led to suspicion of impairment, authorities say that they proceeded to administer a breath test. The results of this test allegedly indicated that his blood alcohol content was nearly double the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle. He was taken into custody and is facing numerous charges in relation to the incident.
