Those who live and work around the town of Frankfort, Kentucky are privileged to have an abundance of stores, restaurants and other public establishments where they can shop and dine at their convenience. Recently, a woman in another state filed a lawsuit after she allegedly fell in a home improvement store due to a wet floor. According to the lawsuit, the woman was shopping in the store and visited the bathroom. The woman said, while in the bathroom, she encountered a pool of water on the floor that caused her to slip and fall.

The lawsuit claimed the woman was seriously injured due to the fall. The woman seeks to hold the store responsible, alleging that employees negligently allowed the water to remain on the floor and failed to provide warning of the dangerous conditions. The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages for her alleged injuries as well as all just relief.
